From Monday the 28th June - July 2nd over 4000 children attended the Blackpool Youth Games. 24sevenmedia were hired in to film and photograph the games.
The BBC have featured our pictures on their website and you can see the link here. http://news.bbc.co.uk/local/lancashire/hi/people_and_places/newsid_8783000/8783332.stm
The games is such a great event and all the children and staff involved had a great time as did we! With over 7 hours of filmed video this has been one of our most challenging projects. The DVD of the games will be provided to the council for promotional purposes and also distributed to all the schools who have taken part.
24Sevenmedia is proud to have been selected from a number of companies to produce the Blackpool Music Service website on behalf of Blackpool Council.
The challenge was to produce a website that reflected the creativity of the service along with functionality for staff to easily update the website.
The Blackpool Music Service website encompasses 3 levels of functionality. Level 1 is the public level and dictates the front end of the design and what the public can see and access on the website. Level 2 requires a login username and password and allows staff and teachers to access information and resources relevant to their needs and provides a central point to distribute the information between departments. Level 3 is the highest level and restricted to Music service level staff and selected members.
The website now serves as a valuable tool in communicating with staff and engaging with pupils and parents. As a content managed site (CMS) information can easily be updated by staff and full training was provided and as with all ou.
In addition to the website we were also asked to handle the music services graphic design and printing requirements which we do regularly.
Blackpool Council's Learning and Achievement Department have recieved their copy of the 2010 FRED DVD produced by 24Sevenmedia. Over 120 Primary School children from 7 schools took part in the production filmed in a Green Screen studio with added postproduction and animation effects.
Fred 2010 was a fun day out for all the kids involved. Paired into groups of around 12 at a time the children were filmed within a green screen studio in Blackpool. The children performed to dance tracks such as Monster Mash, is this the way to Amerillo. Once filmed the footage was edited in our offline studio and background videos, animation and graphics were added to the production. The finished DVD was well received and we are looking forward to producing FRED 2011. In 3D!
One of Italy's finest composers has contracted 24Sevenmedia to re-design his existing web presence. Nicola is not the only international customer who has heard of our services as last month we produced a website for Runda Advisors in France.
Due to the huge success of the website and launch of the business in February we approached David to see if he would like to feature a video of himself talking to camera to feature on his website informing his visitors of his services whilst utilising the power of television.
David agreed and we have set a date for the filming to begin in our Blackpool Green Screen studio this month.
